Valentine Blog Parties and More!

Today there are two Valentine blog Parties going on. The two fun and Fabulous Hostess's are:

Laurie at Bargain Hunting and Chatting with Laurie

Amy at Keeping up with the Schultz Family.

And these three weekly parties just fit the whole theme.

Cindy at My Romantic Home for her fun weekly Friday party "Show and Tell Friday"

Claudia at Dipity Road for her beautiful weekly Friday party "Friday~~Finding Beauty"

Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for her sweet weekly Saturday party "Pink Saturday"

All of these blogs are absolutely filled with fun posts. I hope you stop by all of them and say hi!

I had a lot of fun decorating for Valentine's Day and creating Valentines decorations this year. I had a goal of "Using what I had" and buying very little to decorate with. I did pretty good. I think I spent right around $7.50. And $3.00 of that was for candy conversation hearts! LOL

Below are all the different things I did and the links to the posts that shows how I did each. I hope you enjoy this post!

With Ball canning jars, some candy and things around the house, I started the Valentine Decor with a fun and easy centerpiece. Check it out HERE.

Next, using cute little tin buckets I had and the conversation heart candy, I started making decorations for the "Valentine Tree". See post HERE.

Using scrapbook paper and other things I had on hand, I made some paper cones and fans to decorate the Valentine tree. Post HERE.

Now to decorate some candles with more scrapbook paper, ribbon and doodads that I had. post HERE.

Then just something sweet and simple. Post HERE.

Wanting to use other things I had around the house, I made some Valentine Candy cane Heart ornaments. Post HERE.

I wanted a little vignette on a side table and only use what I had, so I put together a little trio of jars. Post HERE.

And finally, this week's romantic tablescape. Post HERE.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day with the people you love!

  21. So sorry that I missed you yesterday. It seemed like the day just ran away from me! But, with this being ♥Valentine's Day♥ what better time for me to stop by to see your Pink Saturday goodies.

It's been a long and dark winter up here near Canada so filling myself up with pink is my way on the weekend of chasing away the blues - not that blue isn't a nice color, too☺

I ♥ coming here. All the pink and all the girlie stuff just floods my brain and makes me want to do a happy dance right where I sit!

Thanks so much for sharing. After all, isn't sharing one of life's greatest pleasures?

    ♫Happy Valentine's Day♫
