Silver Sunday - Goodwill finds

Today is Silver Sunday over at Gypsy Fish. Stop by and check out all the stunning silver being shown today!

Last weekend, when we went to the RV Expo, we stopped by a small Goodwill Store. We don't have any GW stores around us so, when we are in an area of one, we stop.

I got this set of a Tray, Creamer and Sugar Bowl for $2.00. Here is how it looked when I got it.

And this was after a bit of cleaning.

I also got this small tray. It was also $2.00. I love the details of it.

Now for the polished up look!

And my other silver treasure bought at Goodwill was this glass and silver carafe. And it was also $2.00. I did buy something else that was $3.00. LOL but, it wasn't a silver piece. I didn't get very good pictures. Sorry about that. Today was a tough day!

And after some cleaning. this piece is going to take a lot more polishing and time.

  5. Wow, great finds and prices! I'm going to have to hit up a Goodwill! Somewhere I have a bread tray exactly like the one you've shown-a wedding gift. I just cannot find it! Oh well, a new week's on the way. Have a great weekend, Diann.

  21. I love hearing other tales of Goodwill finds. Sometimes I feel a little guilty that I love literally around the block from a Goodwill Store. I can just walk over on my lunch break. Sometimes, nothing, but when you score, you score big.
