Thrifty Blues and Treasured Blues

Hi everyone! It's Blue Monday over at Smiling Sally's blog.

And it is Show Off Your Cottage Monday at The House in the Roses

I told you guys about my adventure to TJ Maxx, here is another one of the bargains I got there. These are beautiful blue and white quilted place mats. They have such a pretty fresh look to me. And, once again, a great price!

These next two teacups and saucers were given to me from my parents. Doesn't that make things even more beautiful and valued? I am so fortunate that my parents are some of my very best friends. They are two of the most generous people I know.

The first one I am showing is from my mom. She gave it to me for Christmas. I was with her when she bought at an antique store we visited. I didn't even see her buy it! That sneaky mom of mine!

Doesn't it have a regal look to it? I just love it!

This next pretty blue and white teacup and sauce came from my dad. He and my mom went to a antique store last week and while they were looking around my dad spotted this teacup set. He knew that I am always looking for blue teacups. They are just hard for me to find (without paying a arm and a leg that is). So, he bought it for me and brought over as a surprise! I am truly a lucky girl!!

It just has such a nice clean look to the blue and white.

The sky blue napkins were bought at a yard sale last summer. A set of 8 for $1.00! And the napkin ring is a bracelet from the dollar store (2 for $1.00).

I hope you enjoyed my pretty blues for this wonderful Monday! Have a great day!
