Pink Saturday ~ Candy Dish

Happy Pink Saturday to you all! Check out all the fun Pinks everyone is showing today over at How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday!

Come on everyone, let's cram in to my tiny little bathroom! I know, you have been waiting all week in hopes of hanging out in my little bathroom right? Okay, remember, first one in gets the only available seat!

I am showing you this beautiful covered china candy dish. It was made in Germany. I bought it about 6 or 7 years ago at an antique store in Ohio. And, oddly enough, it has been in this little bathroom ever since. LOL

Pretty little flowers.

A little touch of gold here and there.

A little embroidered doily under it.

And what does this pretty dish hold? The little princess's ponytail bands along with other much needed 2 year old girly hair accessories!

This small bathroom is the most used bathroom in our home. It is the one guests use as well. Well, it is tiny. A toilet, sink and mirror, that's it. there are no drawers, cabinets or shelves. So, trying to keep needed things in here without them just crammed under and open wall mount sink has been a challenge. This past summer I found this wicker shelf. It was just the right size and was in perfect shape.

The bathroom is painted lilac with white accents so, this fit perfectly.

And the best part? Check out the price! $2.99 at the Salvation Army! But wait, it is a blue sticker and that was blue sticker day! So, I got it for $1.50! And now this is where my pretty candy dish is calling home (okay, along with extra rolls of TP and hand towels).

Have a wonderful day everyone!!

  2. I really like that shelf. I have one in my tiny bathroom that sits on the back of the 'only seat in there' and holds my extra stuff. Love your little pink candy dish and how it keeps the little Princess's stuff nicely contained!
