A Couple of Small Christmas Gifts

Here are a couple more of my Christmas gifts from Troy.

This is a little antique saucer that Troy found on Ebay and got for me. I really like these little "Historical Scene" plates.

This is another Ebay find, a little butter dish but he bought it for me to be used as a teabag rest.

And he found this little booklet this past summer when we were at Sauder Village. He had bought me a couple pieces of Staffordshire and thought this cool book would come in handy!

  15. I grew up near Stoke-on-Trent in England. The area is known as The Potteries. So I appreciate your attitude. I have a piece of Wedgewood on my wall. Maybe I'll photograph it for Blue Monday some day.

  21. Delightful blue gifts that remind me of treasures my mom had when we were growing up. I have no idea what happened to them so perhaps they've made their way to your collection? Wouldn't that be fun! Happy Mosaic Monday! My mosaic is of Neighborhood Shadows at Sacred Ruminations this week.

  30. Hi there! I'm just now seeing your post from last week. Hope you enjoy your pretty new blue pieces. I love finding things on e-bay too. I have Staffordshire Liberty Blue plates. They were made to celebrate the bicentennial in 1976 and apparently were available in grocery stores across the country. Humble beginning but beautiful collectible pieces! And I LOVE them.
