A Cute Cookie Jar

Today is Blue Monday over at Smiling Sally. Stop and check out all the fun "Blues" people are showing today! As always, thanks Sally for hosting this fun Blues party!

I told you that Troy and I hit a new thrift store last week and picked up a few things. Well, I spotted this cookie jar. Now normally I don't do a lot of whimsical stuff but, I just thought this was too cute and perfect to house (pun intended) my regular tea bags in. I have lots of speciality teas that are in tea tins but, my regular 'ol tea (Red Rose or Lipton) I generally keep separately in a jar. But, I thought this little "Tea House" was perfect for my teabags.

Check out that blue roof!

I don't think anyone even used this cookie jar because it still had the cardboard around the lid inside and also cardboard inside the base

  6. What a perfect place for your tea bags. I usually just tear off the lid and put the box in the the pantry. I will have to look for something cute like that to use for mine.

  10. I really like the little cookie jar and what a great way to use it, instead of a cookie jar, this time around it is a tea jar.
