Just a Cute Thrifty Little Christmas Decor

Hi everyone!

This is just a super simple little Christmas decoration. I wanted something for our little coffee table that the Little Princess would enjoy since it would be at her level.

I had this set of salt and pepper shakers for years. Remember when these S'More snowmen hit the stores? They were everywhere. I don't use these for salt and pepper, they are just not practical but, they are cute and the princess loves them! So, I thought, "Okay, how can I display them besides just sitting them on a table?" I looked around the house to see what I had and came up with this little jar that I got at a yard sale this past summer for .25 cents (Here is a post where I used it for Halloween).

I grabbed a bag of fake snow (dollar store) and some plastic little clear snowflakes (also at the dollar store. 20 per package. I have been using them on wrapped gifts). And I just put together this simple little snowman scene in a jar. I used a round plastic gold place mat and a piece of gold garland and that was it. Super easy, super fast and most importantly, not a dime spent! Oh and of course the little Missy thinks it's her special decoration!

  3. Oh how cute. I love that! That gives me an idea to put some snow men and create a snow scene in my glass "cake taker" which is on a little pedestal. Cute idea! I'm following!
