Rednesday

Join me and other bloggers at Sue's blog, "It's a Very Cherry World" for Rednesday!

My red today is this little child's wooden rocker. A few months ago we, my mom, the little princess and myself went out for a "Girl's Day Out". We hit a couple of second hand stores and a flea market. At one of the second had stores, The Princess spotted this little rocker and immediately claimed it. She would not get off of it. My mom decided to buy it for her. And Princess Stubborn-head would NOT get off the rocker, even to take it up front to pay for it. It is the first time she has ever thrown a little tantrum in a store. Oh, I was not a happy camper! I picked her up out of the chair and we went outside kicking and screaming! Meanwhile my mother bought the chair for her. I wasn't going to after that little episode!

So here is the "episode rocking chair". LOL

Someone hand painted it.

  3. Everyone needs their own space, and I guess your little girl was just claiming hers! What a sweet little chair, and how nice of Grandma to buy it for her!

  5. It's beautiful! No wonder she took a fit - if she hadn't, she probably wouldn't have gotten it! Smart little cookie!
