Purses, Purses, Purses!

Well, no one can ever accuse me of not being into accessories! LOL I am an accessory addict! And contrary to what the poor Hubs thinks, purses are an accessory to me! So, I never leave a thrift store without checking out the purses. And lately I have had some pretty good luck getting some awesome bags! And this past week was no exception. Of course, I ended up spending most of my "Thrifting allowance" on just purses but, I can live with that! LOL

Out of curiosity, do you have a set amount of money that you allow yourself to use for thrifting? Or do you spend what you think you can afford each week/month? I have always been curious about that. My thrifting allowance is $25.00 a week. Some weeks I spend every last penny of that amount and then other times I can "roll" it into the following week. Thrifting is my hobby, my entertainment. It's something I really enjoy doing.

Now if we are looking for something specific for the house that we need, I have gone over my $25.00 limit. But, that is generally calculated into the house budget because it was an item we need.

Okay, on to my purses!

First up is this Louis Vuitton bag (a nice knock-off. Still love it though!) . Now this one is probably in the worse shape of any purse I have ever bought. It has some damage on the corners of the bottom. Of course, that is why I was able to get it for $5.00!

Sorry for such a bad picture. The worn out corner is not completely a hole. I am going to take it to a shop that repairs such things and see what they can do.

Next up is my Tommy Hilfiger red bag! Love this color. The Tommy line only made this "Lacquer red" color for a couple of years in the late 1990's, early 2000's. this is what took up almost half of my $25.00! It was $10.00. I haven't spent $10.00 on a purse since I bought my other Louis Vuitton at a thrift store 2 years ago! LOL

And here is another Louis Vuitton bag. It is just a small little thing but, it is in perfect shape and cost me $5.00.

So, those 3 purses took up most of my $25.00! Geez! LOL

You remember my post Tuesday about the woman cleaning out her storage units? And I knew she threw in a bunch of stuff that I didn't know about. Well, I have been trying to go through some of it and I came across these 2 purses! LOL

This first one is a Liz Claiborne black embossed purse. I really like it and it's a great size. Couldn't find a thing wrong with it.

This next black bag is just a fun funky retro diamond bead bag. I think it will be a cool accessory purse! It's just fun.

So, kinda fun and cool to discover these two free purses!
