Mosaic Monday

Hi everyone! Here is my Mosaic to share for this weeks Mosaic Monday hosted by Mary at Little Red House. I hope you get a chance to stop by and visit others showing off fun mosaics!

I am trying to put together some of the dishes and whatnots that will be used for our Thanksgiving table this year. Here are some of the things I think I will be using. These photos are just from past pictures I took. I haven't figured out every dish yet, but this will be just a sampling.

As I look at the picture of items, nothing was bought full price even at Antique Store or thrift store!

If you are intereseted in where I got each piece, here is a breakdown:

**The amber comote and ruffled dish in the center were from an anitque store bought back in Septemeber. Both were 50% off the marked price.

**The large plate was bought at Goodwill for 50% off.

**The two Pilgrim figurines were 50% off at Big Lot.

**The amber candlestick was bought at an antique store for 40% off the price (it matches a smaller one I have).

**The transferware bowl was also found at the antique store at 50% off.

**The Hallmark maple leaf dishes were brand new bought at Salvation Army for .50 cents each.

**The four little glass pumpkin votive holders were bought at Family dollar for .50 cents each.

**The two Amber tumblers, another "Jennifer Ferrell" purchase from Big Lots for $1.00 each.

**The sunflower salt and pepper shakers and the 2 sunflower bowls were recent purchases at Cracker Barrel at 40% off.

**The stoneware dishes and the covered serving bowl were both purchased at Salvation Army for 50% off the sticker price.

So, as you can see, it is a thrifty table!

  5. Love the mosaic! I havent' figured out how to do that yet...beyond my abilities at the moment! the amber glass is so pretty, i've picked up a few pieces over the years but have given them to a friend who loves amber glass. I am heading to Cracker Barrel tomorrow to see what bargains are left. Still planning my menu also. Can we say last minute! Have a great week.
