Menu Plan Monday

This week's menu is almost an entire week of tradition for us. The week starts off getting the refrigerator cleared out so there is room for everything that will go in it later in the week.

It's so annoying to open the fridge with a big bowl of fruit salad in your hand that needs to chill and find a bunch of containers of leftovers in the way.

We always eat light on the night before Thanksgiving, then on Thanksgiving, we set aside a little turkey for Leftover Day and freeze the rest. I know everyone else calls the Friday after Thanksgiving “Black Friday”, but for us it's always been “Leftover Day”.

By Saturday we are tired of turkey and craving red meat. We're also tired of cooking and doing dishes and ready for a night out. So, of course we looked until we found a mystery shop that night..

Clean Out the Refrigerator Night

Troy's night to cook.

I think he's making pan broiled Swai fish with fresh herbs and lemon.

“Finger Food Night”

Veggies & Dip

Oven grilled cheese sandwiches

Pie Crust with Cinnamon & Sugar

Thanksgiving Dinner

Turkey & All the stuff that goes with it.

Leftover Day

This is never a formal meal day at our house, it's more of a fend and forage for yourself day.

Out to eat (mystery shop)

Homemade Soup

I hope there are some Homemade rolls left,

otherwise we'll have to make more.
