Thrifty and Frugal Halloween Decorations

As you all know by now, I have my home decked out for Autumn. I love getting this done early because now for the next two hoidays, Halloween and Thanksgiving, I can just add little touches here and there.

Here are some fun, easy and thrifty Halloween Decorations you can make. All these ideas came from "FaveCrafts.com"

Bat Wind chime

Glitzy Halloween Swag this one I would (and plan to) use cheaper alternatives. Such as a piece of foam board from the Dollar store instead of STYROFOAM, which is way over priced these days! I like this idea but, it will be scaled down to a much cheaper budget for me.

Halloween Treat Bowl

Plump, Pretty Pumpkins Once again, I would not use the styrofoam balls unless you have them or can get them super cheap. I would use something round from the Dollar stores. Maybe a rubber ball, plastic fillable ornament. anything that is round and cheap. You don't see the inside.

Candy Corn Ornament Use what you have or visit the Dollar Store (or maybe Big Lots) and get a cheaper version that will work for you.

The whole idea is have some fun. Use what you have. Check out inexpensive alternatives. And get your kids involved!
Happy Haunting!

  2. Everything is so cute! I'll have to try one or two of these. Half my Halloween stuff is still in the attic--and the attic ladder broke! (The heavy spring popped. We've tried putting it back again, but it keeps popping off. I hope we can fix it in time for Christmas decorations, at least, LOL!)
