A Few Thrifty Bargain

We are still camping and enjoying the beautiful Autumn weather! However, today was a rainy day so, I headed off to the little thrift store in town to look around. I found a few little bargains.

Here is what I got. Oh before you look, be forewarned, the pictures are taken on our bed because I couldn't take them outside and the Hubs was busy in the kitchen making dinner!

6 brown and taupe napkins - $2.00

Each plate was .50 cents

.75 cents for the little cheese dome

.50 cents for a yellow ceramic creamer (I'm still looking for a sugar bowl and teapot)

an old Ball jar - .50 cents

. 2 small wood and mirror plaques - $1.50

2 metal tulip votive holders (picture is really bad. The bases are dark green and the flowers are purple)

a medium hurricane shade - 50 cents

A set of 2 plates and 2 cups with apples/pears in a basket - $1.50

I spent about $8.00 today.

I'm linking up with these 2 awesome blogs. Make sure you go and visit them :)

  5. You always get some great bargains! Those plates remind me of the canister set my mom had in the late 50s and early 60s. Wish I had them now! Enjoy your camping!

  15. Wow! You found a lot of things. I've only been doing the thrift store thing for a little while since I have so many options here, and I've never found that many good things at once. Great job!

  16. Isn't it great to get so many things for such a little price? Often when I go to garage sales, I will only bring a few dollars so that I can see how far it goes.
