A couple of Thrift Store finds

Here are a few of my recent thrift store acquisitions. Ohhhhh is that all fancy schmancy! LOL

This pair of heavy brass candle sconces were marked $5.99 for the pair. However, it was white tag day and as you can see, they are white tagged! So, I paid $3.00 for the pair.

Another white tag find was this large heavy vintage ceramic mixing bowl. You can see on the price tag that it says "as is". It has a chip in the rim (pictured). Marked at $4.59 so, I got it for $2.30.

These 2 Autumn placemats were marked .99 cents, with a white tag. So, I got the 2 of them for .50 cents.

  2. I saw one fellow blogger who spray painted the brass candlestick holder black for halloween. Now, these are too pretty for that. But it's a great idea for an old pair that lost its luster. Don't u think?

  3. Now those really ARE goodwill goodies. I can't believe you got those sconces so cheaply. Want to sell them? (wink!)

Fabulous finds. You are an excellent thrift shopper!
