Reusable Totes

This was one of my many "DUH!" moments. I do seem to have a lot of them lately. My birthday was last week and one of my bestest friends ever dropped off a birthday gift. Well, the gift bag she used was, yup, you guessed a reusable tote bag!

I couldn't believe I hadn't thought of that by now! DUH! Let's see, I could go to the Dollar Store and buy a paper gift bag for a dollar or I could go to one of a gazillion stores and buy one of their reusable tote bags for around a dollar. Let's see, which one is the better and thriftier choice?

Sherry, the BFF, found a Detroit Tigers reusable tote and then fixed it up just like any normal paper gift bag using tissue paper and ribbons. Well, hello great idea! And The Detroit Tigers tote was just the right tote to receive from her since she has been my "Free Arby's because the Tigers scored 3 home runs" source this past summer.

There are some really fun tote bags out there being offered by different stores or just being sold with a number of different designs on them. They are inexpensive and a great "add on" to the gift you are giving.

So, the next time you find yourself in need of a gift bag, head to a store that the person you are buying for would enjoy and buy a reusable tote bag or just buy one, if they are available, at the store you bought the gift at!

Thank you Sherry!
