Rednesday

My first Link-in with one of the lovely blogs I discovered on my blogging adventure the other night is It's a Very Cherry World. The writer of this blog is Sue and Rednesday is just that, something you like, found or whatever that is red. Sue hosts this link up each week on Wednesdays.

So, for my first link up on Rednesday I want to share with you something I really love.......

This is a handmade ceramic soup bowl that has a small "plate" attached and wrapped around the base. I have two of these (the other is green). I bought it several years ago at a street fair. I just fell in love with them. We use them on a regular basis. They are nice and big and awesome for a big bowl of chili and homemade bread!I really like handmade crockery of all sorts. And I try to pick up pieces here and there when my budget allows it.

  1. That is a very nice combination cup/plate! I've never seen one like it before! Great reds for today! If you have any project you are working on or completed recently, come on over to my blog for GET R DONE FRIDAY - I've posted each week about redecorating my bathroom, and now this week we finished a hearth for our corn stove, and I'll be posting pictures of it. Some people post crafts, and some feature their husbands standing by something they are 'thinking' of working on! Hope to see you there!

  3. Hello and welcome! I hope we see lots more of you on Rednesdays! What a clever idea - I'm surprised that the big china companies didn't think of that! They're very handsome!
