Pink Saturday!

Hi Everyone! It's time for Pink Saturday! Our lovely hostess is Beverly at How Sweet The Sound. So, after you read this post, check out what others are posting for Pink Saturday!

Remember my adventure the other day at the outdoor flea market? I posted about getting a set of dishes for $1.00 because I had purchased other things and the set is not a complete set. If you missed the post, here it is: Haggling.

These are my dishes that I got for $1.00 for the whole kit an kaboodle:

I got 6 dinner plates (1 is not showing in the picture), 2 dessert plates, 2 saucers, 3 bowls and a gravy boat.

So, although they are not a complete set, I still think they are sweet and I think I got a great bargin for my $1.00!

  9. That's an absolutely stunning set of china. Well done! If it's any comfort, it's very fashionable in the UK to mix and match sets, whether by colour or theme - or by different courses during a formal meal. It's not only fun, it shows tenacity (which you have in spades) and a good eye (which you also have in spades).

Happy (belated) Pink Saturday! (I'm still trying to visit everyone).
