Outdoor Wednesday

I thought since we have been camping off and on at this campground throughout this past summer, I would show you a couple of pictures from here. We stumbled across this campground via the internet when we wanted to go to a Maple Festival in a nearby city. This was back in April. We didn't have a lot of money to spend so my husband searched his little heart out and found this place. And basically, we never left! LOL Our trailer stays here even when we are home. We have taken our trailer out and about to other places but, it eventually works it's way back to Rock lake.

It is a Christian campground with a large assembly of churches involved with it. It has been a campground for almost 100 years. They have the campground, lodges, cabins, a miniature putt putt golf course, and all sorts of sports activities. They also have a massive cafeteria, pavilion, little store, community center and numerous other things.

So, here are some of the pictures:
As you come into the bottom half of the campground

This was a service project all the members worked on last year. It is a deck and then it goes down to the beach and boating area

Now take a couple of minutes and head over to A Southern Daydreamer and check out more "Outdoor Wednesdays".
