A Few Thrifty Treasures

Here are a few little newly acquired treasures I found.

This first items is a ceramic basket. I got it for 50 cents at a yard sale and thought it will be pretty decorated at Easter. So, it is getting put away for the time being.

This little goldish/yellowish/brownish ceramic bowl is going to be used for all those little doodads that you need handy...paper clips, rubber bands, matches, twist ties. In other words, all the junk that ends up being tossed here and there. I got it for .25 cents at the same yard sale as above.

This little metal leaf I found at a Goodwill store. It has seen better days. Half of the finish is coming off. so, it will become a little "re-do" project to bring it back to life. It was .50 cents.

  1. Diann, I can't quite tell from your pictures but that little yellow/brown bowl looks an awful lot like a Rockingham glaze bowl. If it is, you got yourself quite a treasure!
