Packing for Camping

Here are just a couple of quickie helpful tips.

Anytime I can come up with something that will make my life easier and save me time, money and aggravation, I am SO there! LOL so, I thought I would do a quick post about summer vacations and more specifically, packing for vacations.

When you go camping, or any type of traveling, you know how limited space is. Trying to keep things together and make it so things are easily found can be a chore. The best solution I have come up with is clothespins! I put together the Little Princess's outfits, right down to socks (I always lose those!) and clip the entire outfit together. This makes grabbing an outfit so much easier.

And you know how I love all the freebie bags that come with different things. I use a clear zippered bag that came with a mattress pad to store the outfits in. It's handy because it is clear and you can look and see what you want to choose.

I also have smaller clear zippered bags (came with sheets) that I use to put my socks and under garments in and do the same with the hubby's. This makes finding these items so much easier. No searching through suitcase for matching socks.

If you are camping, as clothes get dirty either put them in a garbage bag or a clothes basket and keep them in your trunk or truck bed. There is no reason to keep them in your camper/tent. It just gets confusing and takes up too much room.
